O2 Arena, O2 Universum, and Forum Karlín switch to cashless payments
The O2 Arena, O2 Universum, and Forum Karlín have switched to exclusively cashless payment methods. Thanks to a partnership between Mastercard, ČSOB, and Bestsport, with support from SobIT, one of largest multifunctional halls has become a pioneer in digital payment technologies. This step not only provides a modern and convenient solution for visitors, but also increases the speed of order processing, transaction security, and payment process efficiency.
SobIT contributed to the modernization of payment systems at the O2 Arena by supplying three key products:
- Payment applications – Modern payment terminals with the Android operating system, ensuring fast and secure transactions.
- Payment terminals – Payment application with MIFARE card support (gift cards)
- The SobIT Cashdesk cash register application, which we also implemented, simplifies and speeds up cash register processes. It is designed with an emphasis on user-friendliness and reliability, contributing to an overall positive visitor experience.
Payment options at the O2 Arena include:
- Payment card
- Mobile phone
- Smart watches
- Prepaid card, which can be topped up with cash at the information desk in sector 101.
This system ensures that every visitor can pay conveniently and securely in the way that suits them best.
