The Battle of Prague – the biggest university hockey event of the year is successfully behind us, and it was truly an unforgettable ride!
SobIT became the technology supplier for this year’s Battle of Prague. The Battle of Prague is the biggest university hockey event of the year, so we are delighted to have been able to participate in such an important event. This prestigious event, which took place in the heart of Prague, attracted four major Prague universities, which competed in a series of thrilling hockey matches. The winners were the UKKings from Charles University, whom we warmly congratulate on winning the #VladciPrahy2025 title.
We supplied modern payment terminals for the event, equipped with our SobIT CashDesk cash register application, which allowed the organizers to conveniently process all payment transactions that took place at the event. Our technology ensured smooth transactions not only in the cloakrooms and at the merchandising stands, but also in the refreshment area, where bartenders used our solution to efficiently serve visitors.
Some interesting statistics:
- Over 4,500 transactions were processed during the evening.
- The majority—more than 75% of transactions—were sales of alcoholic beverages.
- The combination of vodka and energy drinks was the most popular.
- The highest sales volume occurred between midnight and 1 a.m.
